Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina
On June 18, 2010. in Hotel „Sunce“ in Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina was held Partner Search Forum. The forum was organized as a part of preparation activities for upcoming 2nd Call for project proposals within IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina. The forum gathered about 100 participants from two neighbouring countries and enabled potential applicants to present their project ideas and establish direct contacts with potential project partners.
In the plenary part of the forum representatives of Programme Operational Structures Mrs. Zara Haliliović and Mr. Branimir Gojković from Directorate for European Integration, Mrs. Nevena Tutavac from Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management, Mrs. Normela Radoš from Joint Technical Secretariat and guest-speaker Mrs. Andrea Novaković from RDA „Dunea“ from Dubrovnik offered to participants several useful presentations about Programme in general, its current status, main partnership characteristics and good practice related to cross-border programme. It was also presented new programme web-page tool for on-line presentation of project ideas from both sides of the border. Four thematic tables organized per programme priorities and measures were held in the central part of the forum where participants had a chance to present and exchange their project ideas and to establish initial partnerships.
The Partner search forum was held in a very good working atmosphere and constructive dialogue enabling exchange of contacts between great number of different organizations and institutions. Participants of the forum presented 30 project ideas within four Programme measures and seven potential partnerships have been initiated for which we hope to result in concrete project proposals that will be submitted within upcoming Second Call for Project proposals.
